Earn while you learn...

‘Gaining a position at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) straight from A-levels was a great achievement,’ says Hannah Evans, who works as an associate at PwC in Manchester. Instead of choosing university, Hannah felt that working while studying for the ACCA Qualification was the right option for her.
‘Accountancy is a well-respected profession, with great career opportunities and substantial salary growth.’ Hannah believes ‘the structure of ACCA exams allows students to study for a professional qualification straight from A–levels’.
The benefit of directly starting work allows Hannah to qualify quicker than her peers who chose university, and ‘as a sponsored student, I’ll have the added bonus of being debt free’. By qualifying with ACCA, Hannah also has the opportunity to gain a degree from Oxford Brookes University, if she would like to later in her career.
‘Studying and working at the same time is challenging so make sure you leave time for personal commitments, to relax and have fun’, is Hannah’s advice on completing the ACCA Qualification. ‘ACCA exams are challenging as they form part of a professional qualification…however ACCA provides great support to its students, including the ACCA student magazine and the online portal MyACCA.’
Hannah now works within audit at PwC, and loves it. So, you really can earn while you learn, with ACCA.
