The National IT Partnership (NiTP) is a training partnership specialising in the delivery of IT apprenticeships across the country that are providing the next generation of high quality IT Support Technicians, Web Developers and Software Developers to feed the demand for qualified IT professionals through the delivery of high quality Level 3 training. Working in partnership with Further Education colleges NiTP has become the provider of choice for many of the UK leading businesses.
We are are always looking for enthusiastic IT Apprentices for our quarterly intakes - Jan, April, July, Sept.
The NiTP IT Academy offers a Level 3 Gold Standard Advanced Apprenticeship in IT, Web, Software and Telecoms Professionals which includes an Extended Diploma in IT Systems and Principles and Technical Certificates as the core qualification. Subsequently apprentices can choose a 'specialist' route, allowing you to progress in one of 4 directions - Technical, Web Development, Data Analyst or Software Development.
Your time is split between the IT Academy (for training) and with your employer (where you will receive on the job training) over the course of 12 months of which you will spend 10-12 weeks in the academy completing the Diploma units and the relevant technical qualifications.
We are looking for candidates with a strong desire to work within the IT industry and who would like to benefit from gaining industry recognised qualifications and practical real life experience of working within the industry.
NiTP are currently working with businesses such as BT (we deliver their Gold Standard accreditation for IT Apprenticeships’) Hewlett-Packard, Aldi, and TNT. As a business NiTP can accommodate high volume or bespoke requirements.
You should have at least 5 G.C.S.E Grades (C and above) or equivalent, including Maths and English.
The costs of your Apprenticeship training are funded by the government depending on your age. For eligible 16-18 year olds the programme is fully funded.
Unfortunately the cost to employers of training Apprentices aged 19+ can be high, but please feel free to contact us on 0844 5043174 to discuss your options before applying. Graduates, or anyone who has already completed an Advanced Apprenticeship in IT will not be eligible for funding for this apprenticeship.
The successful apprentice will have a strong desire to work in the IT Industry and also have strong IT skills and meet the apprenticeship entry requirements.
