ABOUT THE CAPGEMINI UK APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMME
Capgemini’s Apprentice Programmes – Advanced and Higher – are designed to help Capgemini attract the brightest and best from the local community; offering work experience and practical qualifications to young people, and bringing their insights and energy to our business.
Capgemini UK’s Advanced Apprentice programme was launched in 2004. Since then, over 200 young people have completed a 12-month scheme. The apprentices study for ICT and Business Administration qualifications.
In 2011, Capgemini UK launched a Higher Apprentice degree programme that saw 30 apprentices start a five-year programme of work experience and study to attain a BSc in Computing and IT Practice. It enables young people to train and gain qualifications with their fees being paid for them. The scheme also helps Capgemini UK develop its next generation of software engineers.
