: This course is suitable for people working in an accounting or business environment who would like professional development opportunities and enhanced career prospects. It allows people to gain exemptions from the ACCA Certified Accounting Technician qualification and two ACCA Professional Scheme Part 2 papers. Course content: Auditing theory and practice Corporate and business law Cost accounting and performance analysis Financial accounting and reporting Financial management and control Information management Information systems Maintaining financial records Managerial decision making and control Personal and business taxation Study skills Work-related learning After this course: While the Foundation Degree is a qualification in its own right it can be converted into a full Honours Degree at London South Bank University with one year of further study.Entry Requirements
: Students need to have 5 GCSE passes (Grades A*- C) including Maths and English and at least one of the following: 1 A Level; BTEC National Diploma/Certificate; ACCA CAT Level A; AAT Foundation stage; GNVQ Advanced in Business (pass level); an Access Certificate.
