Content
: In Business Studies you will study different types of organisation and develop a critical awareness of business structures and practices cultivating a range of skills including the ability to make and evaluate business decisions. A range of business activities are examined drawing on a variety of disciplines including economics accountancy government law and social sciences. You will understand how business behaviour can be studied from the perspectives of all stakeholders (customers managers creditors owners/shareholders employees and society). At AS level you will learn about planning financing and managing a business. As you progress to A2 level you will learn about the strategies that are needed for success the business environment and managing change. After this course: On successful completion of the course you could progress to university perhaps after a gap year or you could choose to enter employment.Entry Requirements
: You must be aged 16-18. Students need to have 5 GCSE passes (Grades A* - C) in one sitting including Maths and English.Course Code
