Baltic Training Services are seeking dynamic, talented individuals for leading IT company Capgemini, developing apprentices both academically and technically to become part of the company’s talented workforce of the future.

Our apprenticeship program offers entry-level ICT roles with the opportunity for further career progression into a range of technical areas.

Successful candidates will gain valuable industry exposure and become an active member of the Capgemini team, providing the best head start to a successful career in the IT industry. After completing the apprenticeship program, you could qualify for a range of IT roles within the Wintel Platforms, working across a 24/7 operational shift pattern.

Job Description:

You will be employed to support the UK infrastructure services business, helping to maintain and support critical IT and data services for various public and private sector clients across the UK.

Entry Requirements:

We look for confident, bright, articulate individuals who have a keen and demonstrable interest in IT.

Applicants must have:

  • Good interpersonal & communication skills both oral & written.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a clear logical approach.
  • An ability to work under your own initiative.
  • Determination to make the most of learning opportunities within the apprenticeship program.
  • Applicants must be between 16—18 and have at least 5 GCSE’s (A* - C) including Maths & English.

The apprenticeship will include professional classroom instruction, practical workshops, self-study, assignments and projects. Capgemini is also committed to continued development of your skills and experience and will provide you with just the right exposure to enable you to gain a sound knowledge of working in an IT support role.

During your apprenticeship you will receive training to achieve the following qualifications:

  • City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in IT Professional Competence
  • City & Guilds Advanced Diploma in IT Systems and Principles
  • MCTS Microsoft Certified Technology Associate
  • Microsoft Technical Associate
  • Cisco IT Essentials
