This is a cutting-edge qualification that has been developed to meet the needs of today's workforce. Industry respected, this qualification bears the CACHE hallmark of excellence and targets anybody who works in a senior position within a childcare setting.

You must be enthusiastic and have the desire to improve your ability and knowledge as well as show you are competent in supporting new and less experienced staff.Legislation states a high percentage of the work force should hold a Level 3 qualification.

You will need to complete 11 core mandatory units, plus a further 5 mandatory units from the Early Learning and Childcare pathway, which will give a total credit value of 49 credits. You will then need to take optional units to bring up credits achieved to a minimum of 65 in total. Assessment enables your workplace practice to provide evidence for individual units as well as the whole qualification.

This qualification is listed on the Qualification and Credit framework of nationally accredited qualifications in Early Years Education, Childcare and Play Work (QCF). Features/Benefits You will be given workbooks and worksheets to help achieve the knowledge requirements; you will be set achievable targets by your assessor with guidance and support offered where required.
