WAVA need volunteers like you to help protect endangered green turtles on the coastline of Kenya.
This project has two aims, firstly to record and gather data on the eggs the turtles lay in beaches around the country and secondly to educate local people on the importance of conserving this species of turtle.
Volunteers will work closely with local children and fisherman to discourage them from poaching the turtle eggs and encouraging them to spread the message to people they know.
The other side of the project is just as important however; data gathered on this project has proved invaluable to conservation groups and scientists in recent years.
