Apprenticeship with a Local Software business and the UK’s leading IT training company.
The position is a software developer apprenticeship which the company will provide training and support through a 12 month programme, leading to a career using C# and dot NET technology to create web applications and Windows forms.
About the Apprenticeship
This is a 'Work-Based Learning’ apprenticeship with a Software company in your area, although at times you will be required to stay at a central academy location as you study towards industry recognised qualifications, whilst earning an initial salary of £150 per week!
Trainging to be provided
This programme is fully funded by the government for 16 - 18 year olds, and partially funded for 19-24 year olds. Your employer is also committed to the continued development of your skills and experience.
This is an outstanding software career opportunity for talented, committed, and reliable individuals, and we are seeking candidates with high potential. We are looking for exceptional applicants with a strong educational background in either Mathematics, Science or Business related subjects, with an aptitude for computing. We are also looking for candidates who have an understanding of technology and how it supports business, but most of all, who are really serious about becoming a professional programmer, and ideally has experience of writing code:
- You must have 7 Standards (3 and above) - Maths, Englisg and Science
- A genuine passion to learn about programming, experience is preferable
- Strong interpersonal skills/ability to work in a team environment
- A logical mind, someone who is a problem-solver and doesn’t give up easily
