What's it all about?

What is an atom? How does DNA make us unique? How can they see our bones on X rays? Science is all about asking questions, pushing back the boundaries of what you know - to discover what you don't. Science has a huge role in the modern world and can have a positive impact on peoples lives. Enter the world of science and help work towards finding real solutions to some very difficult problems.

Course Progression:

Suitable for entry to A levels or BTEC qualifications or to support an application to teaching.

Are there any exams?

You will sit two sets of structured exams that will include biology, chemistry and physics and the option to sit higher or foundation tier will be discussed with the subject tutor. You will also complete one internal assessment based around practical work and structured question papers. In order to be successful you will need to carry out independent study activities in the form of additional research and guided study outside of timetabled hours

What does this course involve?
