What's it all about?
If your ambition is to work with children and young people, this course will act as a stepping stone on the way to a rewarding, satisfying and exciting career. There is a fantastic range of job opportunities in the childcare sector, and you could potentially work in foundation stage, pre-school, primary, secondary or specialist schools, with children to the age of 19.Course Progression:
After successfully completing this course, you can progress onto a related level 2 course such as the Children and Young People's Workforce or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, both offered at the College.Are there any exams?
There are no exams. You will complete coursework and a portfolio of evidence to cover all of the outcomes required.What does this course involve?
