What's it all about?
The trainers train the staff ... but who trains the trainers? This workshop is the perfect starting point for anyone responsible for the training and development of staff in the workplace, and is perfect for those with little or no formal background in the delivery of training.Course Progression:
You may like to consider progressing on to the City & Guilds 7303 Preparing for Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS) which is delivered at the College. Applicants may wish to and be eligible to apply directly to the PTLLS course.Are there any exams?
The assessment includes a short micro teaching session to demonstrate the practical training and assessment of learning skills along with a short multiple choice quiz.What does this course involve?
The primary objective of this workshop is to develop the trainer's knowledge of, and self-confidence in information delivery techniques. The topics that are delivered over the two day course include: basic learning theories the training cycle how do people learn? Becoming an effective trainer structure of a training session teaching styles methods of delivery being inclusive.Course Requirements:
