Who is this course for?

This course is designed for 19yrs + students who are wishing to progress to Higher Education in IT/Computing.

What qualifications or experience do I need?

There are no formal entry requirements for this course, but applicants will be required to take a Maths and English test. Some knowledge of IT beyond beginners level is also required.

What will I study?

This programme will cover the following topics: IT Applications: - web design, database, hardware and software * Programming: - Java * Quantitative Methods * Communications: - Oral and written

How will I be assessed?

Assessment will be through: * Practical coursework * Written assignments * Examinations

What qualifications could I achieve?

On successful completion of this course, students will achieve an Access to HE Diploma (IT) OCNLR

What can the course lead to?

Students who successfully complete this course may choose to enter a Higher Education degree in Computing/IT at a University such as Middlesex, Brunel, Queens Mary, Westminster, Hertfordshire and King's College London.
