The company

Using our 3D Service, we discover, develop and then deliver our Graduate / Trainee / Junior Sales Consultants to enterprise technology organizations. SMC Ltd provides all its Graduate / Trainee / Junior Sales Consultants with the training, development and accreditations to undertake high value consultative solution sales. We empower our Graduate / Trainee / Junior Sales Consultants to kick start their career within the IT industry, providing them with the lifelong skills required to become an asset to any future organization that they may choose to work for. Upon entry into our organization we assess our Graduate / Trainee / Junior Sales Consultants current skills and talents very carefully in order to source a customer that best suits their sales abilities.

Following this we will work closely with them, teaching them how to undertake account management, effective customer service, new and existing business development, general team management and obviously sales techniques with the view of creating a permanent career for our Graduate / Trainee / Junior Sales Consultants with their assigned customer or in our dynamic, rapidly growing organization. With offices in Berkshire, UK and in Hessen, Germany this is an excellent opportunity for any Graduate / Trainee / Junior Sales Consultants to grow and develop with an established organization, allowing the possibility to develop and progress their career, work and travel abroad, work from home, meanwhile maximize their potential earnings.

The role

As a Graduate / Trainee / Junior Sales Consultant you will be responsible for the following:
  • Cold Calling potential prospects
  • Responding to inbound inquiries
  • Creating and managing marketing campaigns
  • Monthly customer review meetings
  • Reporting to senior management
  • Gathering business intelligence
  • Account management
  • Up and cross selling SMC Ltd services
  • Account strategy planning
  • New business development
  • Team building and management
  • Account profiling
  • Database cleansing
  • Lead generation report writing
  • Training, developing and supporting new employees


Requirements

No experience or skills are required to undertake this role as a Graduate / Trainee / Junior Sales Consultant, however all candidates will need to be well presented. Successful candidates will need to demonstrate that they have the following attributes and talents:

Qualifications required

At least 5 GCSEs (A*-C) - Maths and English is a must or equivalents

 

Training by QA, the UK market leader in learning services

Over 12 months you will alternate between work-based training from your employer,  and training at a local QA academy.

 

Qualifications achieved:
  • City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Principles of Sales
  • City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Sales
