Who is this course for?

This qualification is suitable for those who wish to develop the knowledge, skills and understanding to gain administrative employment in a variety of business organisations.

What qualifications or experience do I need?

L1 standard of spoken and written English or equivalent.

What will I study?

3 days a week. Knowledge and understanding will be assessed by completing a range of assignments with computer usage.

How will I be assessed?

Practical and written assignments at Level 1 with possible progression to Level 2.

What qualifications could I achieve?

OCR Level 1 Certificate in Administration Units studied include: working in business and administration, creating business documents. Students have the opportunity to achieve the Level 2 Certificate. The course will also incorporate IT skills, including word processing, spreadsheet, ie the essential skills for the modern business world.

What can the course lead to?

BTEC Level 2/3 Diploma in Business Employment in administration Further course specialising in medical or legal terminology
