Record number of apprenticeships started
29th October 2009, 10:55A record total of 234,000 people started apprenticeships last year according to the Office of National Statistics (ONS). 126,900 people completed apprenticeships within the same period (academic year) which was the largest number of apprenticeship scheme completions and starts. Boris announces apprenticeships in London
29th October 2009, 10:44Boris Johnson, the Mayor of London, has unveiled plans to create 400 new bus driver apprenticeships every year in the London.
