Student Academic Experience Survey results raise questions
16th May 2013, 11:27The 2013 Student Academic Experience Survey, produced by the Higher Education Policy Institute (HEPI) and Which? Magazine, raises questions over university standards and whether students are being pushed hard enough. Some students, the survey finds, are studying for forty hours or more each week, while others are only working for half that time. 16th May 2013, 11:02The National Apprenticeship Service is looking into claims of apprentices working "over and above their contracted hours". According to UnionLearn, the learning and skills organisation of the Trades Union Congress, apprenticeship contracts are being broken by apprentices who do their contracted hours in the workplace and then do their studying on top of those hours, unpaid.
