Research & Development Apprenticeship Programme
2010-07-07 12:37:16
With brand names including Lynx, Dove, Pepperami, Ben & Jerry's and PG Tips, there's a good chance you eat, drink or apply a Unilever product most days of the week. And you wouldn't be alone. 150 million times a day, someone somewhere chooses a product that was made by us.
It shouldn't come as too much of a surprise, then, to learn that we're one of the world's most successful consumer goods companies. A company that likes to raise the bar at everything we do. The skills of our Research & Development teams are no exception, which is why we're offering a four-year apprenticeship programme, which will lead to a career that allows you to be involved in the whole product lifecycle from start to finish, while working with a diverse group of people.
The programme, which starts in September 2010, will have a blend of studying academic learning modules within a college environment as well as developing technical/occupational skills through 'on-the-job' training.
To be considered you will need a minimum A Level standard qualification or equivalent (e.g BTEC National Certificate) and have a GCSE pass in Maths, English and Science, and at the end of it all, you'll emerge with a Chemistry degree.
