Train, qualify and work as a ski or snowboard instructor!

If you have a passion for skiing or snowboarding, International Academy offers a range of ski & snowboard instructor training courses in Canada, USA, France, Switzerland and New Zealand. We can also offer paid instructor placements at various Swiss resorts during the February half term & Easter holidays if you successfully complete an early season course in Whistler Blackcomb, Val d'Isere - Tignes or Verbier. Therefore, you can train and qualify as a ski or snowboard instructor in one world class resort, and then get some paid work instructing at another!Our range of 5 to 12 week courses take place at the following resorts: Winter courses

  • Whistler Blackcomb, Canada
  • Banff / Lake Louise, Canada
  • Castle Mountain, Canada
  • Val dIsere - Tignes, France
  • Chatel, France
  • Verbier, Switzerland

Summer courses

  • Timberline Lodge (Mt Hood), USA
  • Cardrona Alpine Resort, New Zealand

All of our course destinations have been hand-picked to provide the best possible instructor training at some of the world's best ski resorts. In short, the courses provide the opportunity for you to:

  • receive quality ski or snowboard instructor training
  • develop your own technical and teaching skills
  • gain internationally recognised CSIA, CASI, BASI, NZSIA or SBINZ instructor qualifications
