New options for A-level students – a degree AND a career
2010-09-01 03:42:56
The recent news surrounding graduate unemployment, the potential increase in tuition fees and the shortage of campus places has bought about a surge in interest from A level students seeking alternatives for UK university places this September. The positive news is that a selected group of UK universities are now working with RDI to offer access to their degree programmes online. Because the degrees offered through RDI are awarded by actual UK universities, the final certificate achieved is exactly the same as if studying on campus. Plus, students can interact with a broad range of classmates worldwide. Many people imagine online learning as studying alone at a computer – but studying through RDI is very interactive, involving and offers students the opportunity to fit their studies around their lifestyles. Don’t get caught in the “graduate unemployment” saga Thousands of new students are studying through RDI every year, benefitting from low fees, flexible payment options plus the opportunity to build a career whilst studying – meaning they graduate with a foot on the career ladder AND without huge levels of student debt. 90% of students with RDI work full-time alongside their studies – it’s that flexible! Many undergraduate students find that studying online and working at the same time puts them in a stronger position for employment after graduating. Imagine if you were recruiting for a new employee – would you take the graduate with no experience or the one with three years experience? Avoiding debt but not missing out on Higher Education Online study has lower course fees associated, and it is much better value than studying on campus. You are already aware that the current university tuition fee cap is £3,225 per year, whereas studying a three year degree with RDI costs less than £2,000 a year in total. There are also flexible payment options - pay as you go by module – so students are in complete control throughout their studies. Don’t miss out on the October intake 2010! RDI’s October intake begins now and, as you can imagine, places this year are in high demand. To make sure you don’t miss out, you can apply online today or speak to RDI’s Admissions Team.
