National Audit Office – a fast track route to chartered accountancy
2011-03-14 11:32:02
This is a fantastic opportunity to get yourself a professional accountancy qualification, without needing a degree and whilst earning a competitive salary and getting some great experience along the way. From the very start you’ll get involved in interesting and challenging work, some of which even makes the headlines. You’ll join us as an Audit Technician Trainee on fast track programme and within 5 years you could be a fully qualified chartered accountant earning over £47,000….
What are we offering?
As an Audit Technician Trainee you’ll join a two year programme combining study and work (don’t worry we’ll pay for you to attend college and will provide you with all the support you’ll need to pass your exams). Once you’ve successfully completed the first 2 years, you’ll move on to the graduate programme for three years and study for the ACA, a globally recognised professional accountancy qualification.
Who are the NAO?
The National Audit Office (NAO) works on behalf of the tax payer and Parliament to hold government to account for the use of public money and to help public services improve their performance. As well as auditing over 475 accounts across government each year, our work has covered a wide range of topical and interesting issues from 2012 London Olympics to the equipment used by UK soldiers in combat.
Is it right for you?
We are looking for numerate people who can demonstrate good communication and organisation skills. If this sounds like you and you have a minimum of five G.C.S.Es grades A-C (including English and Maths) and either have or expect to achieve 300 UCAS points, apply now and start taking your first steps towards a successful accountancy career.
