Study for your degree online, graduate on campus

Studying online for a degree is now becoming an attractive alternative for individuals where a traditional campus-based university education is not an option.
University of Essex Online focus on making higher education degree courses available to those who have the ability and ambition to earn a degree but for work, family or financial reasons cannot attend university in the conventional way.

Degree courses start throughout the year
University of Essex Online courses are delivered via a virtual learning environment which allows students to watch and listen to online lectures and take part in live question and answer sessions over the internet. Learning resources are available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Students can access module notes, review assignments and chat with fellow undergraduates at any time.
Courses include BA Honours and Foundation degrees in areas such as Business and Management and Criminal Justice. Courses start throughout the year so, unlike studying with a traditional university, students don’t have to wait until September to begin their studies.
Upon successful completion of their course, students receive a degree validated by the University of Essex and are invited to attend a graduation ceremony at the University of Essex, Colchester Campus.
