83% of QA Apprentices have permanent jobs after their training

QA Apprenticeships offers A Level and GCSE students another career route in IT, sales and business as university fees rise for the first time.
Young people across England get their exam results this month, knowing that their decision over what steps to take next could be their most crucial career choice, before their professional lives have even begun.
As university fees rise to £9,000 per year for the first time, UCAS applications are down almost 10% in England in 2012. Thousands of young people are considering other paths from university, as they weigh up the sheer level of potential debt against the true value of their university course in the real world and in a competitive job market.
Figures released today by local apprenticeships provider QA Apprenticeships highlight the effectiveness of commercial and IT apprenticeships as a route into a successful career without university debt. Apprentices combine government funded training with a real full-time job.
- 100% of QA Apprentices have jobs from day one of their apprenticeship
- 83% have permanent jobs after their training
