Business Analyst Apprentice

  • Carry out a range of tasks including data entry, data analysis, research and administrative duties as necessary
  • Faxing, filing and scanning
  • Meet and greet clients and assist in any questions or queries they may have
  • Deal with customer complaints face to face and over the phone
  • Use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and other software packages
  • To fully participate in team meetings and project work
  • Having an interest in processes, data and IT would really assist the successful applicant
  • Providing and reporting data
  • Work closely with multiple colleagues across the office and support in the delivery of ad hoc projects and data requests
  • Maintaining data standards, including adherence to the Data Protection Act
  • Capturing new data using all available online and offline resources
  • General data manipulation and analysis – accessing data, cleaning it, moving it around, performing operations on it
  • To act in accordance with the Organisation’s Constitution and other Codes of Conduct
  • There will also be an element of Project Management given as responsibility, based on daily tasks.
  • Part of the role will be to offer technical advice and guidance based on tasks given as part of the job role.

Skills required

  • Interest in an analytical role
  • The ability to self-motivate and work unsupervised
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint &Excel
     

Qualification required

  • Maths and English GCSE grades A – C or equivalent.

 

Working week: 37.5hrs - Monday-Friday - 9am-5:30pm

Training to be provided: Level 3 IT, Software, Web, Telecoms Apprenticeship, inclusive of:

- LV3 ICT Professional Competence
- LV3 Certificate in ICT Systems and Principles 
- Prince2 Project Management Training 
- Microsot Technology Associate - Software Development
- City & Guilds Employee Right and Responsibilities 
- Functional Skills in Maths, English & ICT LV2
