Qualification required: GCSE (or equivalent) Grade C or above Mathematics and Science.

Personal Profile and skills required: It is essential you have the ability to organise yourself, be methodical, able to use initiative, plan and prepare work load effectively.

To ensure success in this position you will need to be a confident, friendly and motivated individual.
In conjunction with this you will need to be reliable, keen and conscientious.

Job Description: You will be trained to deliver an innovative, quality, conference consultancy service that exceeds client’s expectation of conferences, meetings and events. Provide a total venue finding service - including site visit with client, rate negotiations, production of proposals, event organisation and after event support. Build individual client relationships to guarantee client loyalty and repeat business.

·         Attend all meetings with contracted accounts at their offices

·         Achieve and exceed targets for venue finding & Pharma Events Desk

·         Be part of a team for the day-to day running of the event desk to the pre-agreed service levels

·         Identify and highlight issues that may hinder the overall performance or threatens the account

·         Proactively support  marketing initiatives

·         Work with the team to identify better rate negotiation, increased commission and any other

·         Ensure you visit 100 venues a year each and to participate in familiarisation trips

·         Attendance of the annual sales conference by the team is mandatory each year

·         Attend all weekly departmental review meetings

·         Attend monthly management meeting

·         Support directors in various new initiatives and projects if requested

·         Attend relevant exhibitions to support growth of your department

·         Proactively participate in your own training and development plans

·         A proactive approach to internal business development

·         Raise commission invoices on a weekly basis

Environment: You will be based in an office environment but as you progress there will be travel involved.
