The Training Provider, The National IT Partnership has an exciting opportunity with a Telecommunications Services Company located in Wolverhampton. This Employer requires an apprentice to work in the office as an initial point of contact for clients.
The apprenticeship programme starts in  September 2011 and the apprentice will work towards the Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship for IT and Telecoms Professionals.
You will work towards the following IT Qualifications during the 28 week programme:

•Diploma in ICT Professional Competence
•Certificate in ICT Systems and Principles
•CompTIA A +
•Microsoft Technical Associate (MTA)
In this role the apprentice will be responsible for building efective relationships with clients through strong commubnication skills. You will gain an excellent knowledge of the Telecommunications Services that the employer provide and be able to speak to clients confidently about these. You will trouble shoot problems and where needed refer them on to engineers ensuring they are resolved in a timeley manner. You will also get the opportunity to go out and shadow engineers so you are able to build upon your Technical skills. Career progression to a Telecommunications Engineer role is available.

To qualify for the apprenticeship the candidate must have a minimum of 5 GCSE's at C and above including Maths, English and ICT. You will have a strong desire to work in IT and will be keen to develop a career within Telecommunications.

The Employer will pay your wage of £2.50ph for a 35-38 hour week. (£2.60ph from 1st October 2011)
