Apprenticeships for high achievers
Posted: 11th of April 2017 by Nerys Montana
Think apprenticeships are a last resort? Think again.
What are apprenticeships?
A Babington apprenticeship is designed to give you a head start in your career.
Rather than racking up debt at uni, you could earn up to £17,000 a year, while getting your foot in the door with a top employer.
If you’re ready to begin earning and learning straight away, then an apprenticeship could be the answer. You’ll develop real-life, hands-on skills, and benefit from fast career progression.
With level 2 right up to level 7 qualifications on offer, you could even achieve your first management role within just a few years.
Don’t worry – an apprenticeship doesn’t tie you to one career path forever. Brand new apprenticeship standards mean a much wider choice of roles, putting you in control your professional journey.
Depending on your interests, for example, you could start out in property sales, progress to mortgage advice, and then enter a management role.
From digital marketing to accounting, and healthcare to hairdressing, Babington’s apprenticeships suit all sorts of aspirations.
How do I get started?
If you’re raring to go, then it’s time to find your first role. We work with nearly 5,000 employers across the country, from big names like Sports Direct to small local businesses. This means we’ll have plenty of opportunities for you to make your mark.
When you get in touch with us, we’ll find out about your interests and ambitions, then get to work finding your perfect role.
Once you get started, your training advisor will be there to guide you step by step, and help you reach your potential.
What our learners say
“I’d recommend the AAT training through the apprenticeship route to any young budding accountant. With the support of my employer I was able to earn and learn at the same time, rather than coming out of University with debt and no guarantee of a job at the end of it.
The support of Babington Group has enabled me not only to complete my AAT qualifications, but also to compete at prestigious events such as WorldSkillsUK, and to stand up to the accounting elite.”
Daniel Inglis, AAT apprentice
“The diploma was very flexible as you could choose some of your own units to
develop your skills in certain areas. This increased my skills and knowledge, and
I progressed to Lead Trainer with the company, and other senior roles.
I would highly recommend anyone who wants to gain knowledge of a certain sector
to carry out an apprenticeship with Babington Group. All the staff are so helpful.
Doing this qualification was one of the best decisions I have made, and if that’s not
enough you get a graduation on completion, which I am looking forward to attending
