Build your career with a Barclays Apprenticeship

Posted: 10th of February 2016 by Naomi Bourne

Ambitions for the future: we all have them. We believe that nothing should stop you from achieving yours. On a Barclays Apprenticeships, nothing will.

Our Foundation and Higher Apprenticeships are designed to give everyone the chance to build a lasting and rewarding career with us. And when we say everyone, we mean it. There’s no such thing as too old, too inexperienced or too unqualified as far as we’re concerned. We don’t focus on qualifications, education or a particular background. The only thing we’re interested in is potential. If you’ve got this, you’ll do well here.

The Foundation Apprenticeship

This is ideal for you if you’re over 16 and either completely new to the world of work, or returning to employment after a break. You’ll gain an A-level qualification, take on a fulfilling role, and earn a competitive salary. Complete the programme, and you can move into a full-time role, or stay on our apprenticeship-learning pathway.

The Higher Apprenticeship

If you’ve already got a year’s work experience, or are soon to finish school with 200 UCAS points at A-level or equivalent, then this is the option for you. We have a number of routes here, all of which offer a fully sponsored university-level qualification.

Both offer:

·     A rounded and rewarding experience

·     A relevant qualification

·     Plenty of support

·     Specially designed training

·     A competitive salary and benefits package.

What we look for

We’re open to anyone who can show potential, initiative and a can-do attitude. What you’ve done and where you’ve come from don’t matter to us: what we want to see is how far you could go.
