College Hits the Road to Spread the WordPosted: 23rd of July 2015 by
Mont Rose College has been on the road, speaking to prospective students about the many higher education opportunities on offer.
A team from the college in Ilford- have attended a number of UCAS career road-shows across London to talk to college and sixth-form leavers looking for the next step. They offered career advice and guidance, and information on a variety of higher education courses available at the college, which include undergraduate degree, degree top-up, and degree pathway courses, and HNDs, in areas such as business marketing, accounting and hospitality management.
Myles Drakes from the admissions team said: “We have had a remarkable turnout and many students signed up, wanting to find out more about the college and the services we offer.
“It also gave us an opportunity to engage with young people and support them in making a crucial decision in regards to their future.” Prospective students are also welcome to pop into the college to talk to an admissions team careers adviser. A current student, who is now studying hospitality management, praised the admissions team for their pre-enrollment advice and guidance.
He said: “It’s a nervous time for a student to commit two to three years of their life to higher education, however, the admissions team, made it easy. They clearly outlined what I would be studying from the start and discussed with me the potential fields where I can enter when I graduate.”
The student support team not only offers pre-enrollment support, but can provide guidance to the students right until the end of their journey with Mont Rose College
Students at the college have the flexibility to study in a way that is convenient to their lifestyle, whether that means attending a daytime or an afternoon programme.
Degree top-up courses are available for those who want to convert their HND into an undergraduate degree.
The Mont Rose College’s refurbished premises offer students access to private study areas and an extensive range of online learning resources
