Europass: The Winners’ ChoicePosted: 29th of January 2015 by Tamara Hassan

Enjoy a challenge?
Apply your creativity and imagination to the 2015 Europass Viral Video Competition and you could win a travel voucher worth €2,500*. There is also a national prize fund of £800.
The winners of last year’s European competition were 2nd year students of multimedia design from Kuressaare Regional Training Centre in Estonia. They chose to visit Ireland with their winnings. The winning entry was a beautiful short film, entitled “Important Papers”. The public vote found that their video best presented the benefits of the Europass Portfolio. We’ve asked how they came up with the idea for the winning video. “We tried to boil Europass down to its very essence and came up with the phrase ‘important paper” commented the students.
One of the competition participants from the UK, Lindsay Dow, wrote: “Thank you very much for hosting the competition. It was a lot of fun to make the film. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for the competition again next year!”
Whether you are making videos for the competition, travelling, working, volunteering or training, Europass can help.
If you are looking to work, Europass contains the hugely popular Europass CV (40 million completed online since launch), and Language Passport for promoting your language skills. The Europass CV online editor now includes a cover letter editor and template which provides suggestions as to the sort of information that should be provided when applying for a job or work placement.
