First legal apprentices in Wales for CILEx Law School, and 100th overall

CILEx Law School is delivering its first higher apprenticeships in legal services in Wales through client organisations Admiral Law and New Law.  Ten legal apprentices are studying with CILEx Law School for the Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship in Legal Services, and two are studying the Advanced Apprenticeship, set at Level 3.

Ross Sinfield from Admiral Law, who is enrolled on the higher apprenticeship, is also the 100th legal apprentice to be taught by CILEx Law School since legal services apprenticeships were introduced in 2013. Ross is a Team Manager within Admiral Law and also runs his own caseload.  The Apprenticeship will help Ross to further his legal knowledge and build on his workplace skills.

Natasha Clatworthy, Operations Manager at Admiral Law, said:  “The Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship is an ideal way of developing skills and knowledge and provides an alternative route towards qualification.  We are very positive about the initiative and the dealings we have had with CILEx Law School so far.”

Jenny Pelling, Business Director at CILEx Law School, said: “We are pleased to have funding in place in conjunction with Cardiff based ACT, to service the apprenticeship needs of our clients in South Wales. We look forward to watching the careers of their staff develop through the apprenticeship route.”
