Springboard into a successful retail career with AldiPosted: 5th of April 2016 by Naomi Bourne
Aldi’s apprenticeship programme is well-known for being one of the best out there and their recruitment for 2016 is now open.
If you want to begin a successful career in retail their three year Apprenticeship Training Programme could be your perfect beginning.
Aldi are seeking hard-working school and college leavers for their 700 vacancies across the country, for either their Stores or Logistics Programme. The Store Programme is a great way to learn Aldi’s processes, from the shop floor right through to management processes. The Logistics Programme is all about the flow of goods between suppliers and customers. It’s a fascinating yet complex process and if you want to learn the ins and outs, then this is the programme for you.
Both Programmes are three years long, with a good hourly salary and the opportunity to join Aldi’s team on a permanent basis upon successful completion. Many Aldi apprentices like the fact that they join a really productive and efficient team, with lots of banter and supportive management to answer any questions or offer advice. Throughout your time on the programme, you'll see how you can step up and how your efforts are helping you and the business to thrive.
As well as your on-the-job training you’ll also have a dedicated Area Trainer with Aldi’s training provider First4Skills. Alongside your Area Trainer, you’ll work towards your personal competencies and functional skills based upon the Aldi training programme. A personal learning plan will be developed just for you and you’ll receive continued support throughout your apprenticeship.
