Bevan Brittan is to recruit four legal apprentices in the Bristol, Birmingham and London offices. Apprentices will be placed in the Employment, Property, Clinical Risk and Litigation teams. Recruits will start in September 2015 and will follow the Advanced Apprenticeship in Legal Services, each following a pathway relevant to their role, with training delivered by CILEx Law School.

Withers LLP is to recruit four school leavers for its newly launched apprenticeship scheme based at its City office. The apprentices will be recruited into the real estate, employment and litigation departments and will undertake the CILEx Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Legal Services.

At today’s CILEx annual Presidential Luncheon the Lord Chief Justice, Lord Igor Judge, proclaimed that “CILEx is Golden”, in recognition of its 50th Anniversary. The annual event, attended by many of the most influential individuals in the legal services sector, was addressed by the Lord Chief and CILEx President Nick Hanning.
