Currently aligned to Insurance, I have also had past experience in other areas of the Actuarial team here, such as Pensions, Banking and data analytics. Prior to joining Deloitte, I had internships at Zurich Insurance within their General Insurance Reserving team, at the Royal Bank of Scotland within the Risk team, and at a smaller Actuarial Recruitment company.

The IFoA provide a professional qualification called the Certified Actuarial Analyst (CAA) which forms part of an actuarial apprenticeship. With an apprenticeship you can go from school into a career in finance or business, working for some of the world’s top employers, earning whilst you learn.
