"Although I ‘fell into property’, I can’t see myself working in any other sector. Each day is entirely different and I am constantly learning. There’s a variety of entry paths into property which is great if you don’t have a property degree."

Name: Andrew Asante

Job Title: Property Manager

I work in the Investment Lettings & Management team and am a Property Manager

Some of my clients include large corporations who own properties throughout the country. Some of the properties I manage are rented for over £2,000 a week!

My day to day role includes dealing with all aspects of compliance and minimizing the client’s risk. A typical day could include meeting with tenants and carrying out property visits, instructing maintenance works and meeting with clients. Another aspect of the role includes business development, I attend networking events in order to help drive the business.  I am particularly interested in following all new legislation and how this not only impacts me in my role, but also wider society.
