Sophie, 19 – Business Administration Apprentice with Access Engineering SuppliesPosted: 17th of January 2020 by
I chose to do an apprenticeship because I did my A-levels and decided University wasn’t the right pathway for me. I wanted to earn and learn at College and in the workplace.
The best thing about my apprenticeship was everyday was a new day, learning something different from people who have been in the business for years. They passed on their knowledge which I wouldn’t have gained anywhere else.
Following my apprenticeship, I went on to do my Higher National Certificate (HNC) and Higher National Diploma (HND) at Warwickshire College, which allowed me to go to Northampton University to complete my degree.
I am now a team leader at Ricardo Performance Products in the gear cutting section.
