So, what areas of our business do we offer advanced level apprenticeships?
We have opportunities across the UK within civil engineering, building services engineering, transport planning and business administration.
Civil Engineering (Altrincham, Birmingham, Blackburn, Bristol, Cardiff, Croydon, Leeds, Manchester, Seaham, Sheffield, Southampton and York)
Learn how to design the world’s most epic structures. You never know, you could be involved in creating the next iconic bridge or developing one of the largest tunnels! As a civil engineering technician, you’ll be getting involved in the design, analysis, delivery and overall engineering of many important projects, providing long lasting solutions for everyone involved. Using programmes such as computer aided design and building information management, you’ll learn engineering principles and technics to help design and deliver infrastructure and buildings. If you have a broad skills base then this is certainly the scheme for you! You’ll get to apply your skills to projects in sectors such as water, energy, transportation, geotechnics and many more.
At the end of all your hard work, you’ll have the opportunity to become a qualified engineering technician (EngTech). You’ll also gain a Level 3 Diploma in Civil Engineering for Technicians and a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment.
Building Services Engineering (Birmingham and Sheffield)
Our buildings need to be warm, light and safe. Learn how to take a building from an empty shell to a comfortable space in which to live and work. This apprenticeship will allow you to develop your skills while supporting our experts with the creation of new buildings, and the improvements and repairs of current buildings. Building services engineers work to produce long lasting, innovative solutions to make sure buildings are not only comfortable, but safe and energy efficient. As part of the apprenticeship you will learn about different engineering principles including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and building management systems. At the end of all your hard work, you’ll have a Level 3 Diploma in Building Services Engineering for Technicians, a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment and an opportunity to become a qualified engineering technician (EngTech).
Transport planning (Birmingham, Bristol, Croydon, Leeds and Manchester)
Can you imagine what it would be like to have an impact on the everyday journeys of those around you? Well as a transport planner you’ll be doing just that. Working alongside our network of experts, you’ll be helping to ensure that future transport and traffic plan designs continue to benefit the public and sustain the environment. With the skills and knowledge gained from this apprenticeship, you’ll have the opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects, such as modelling transport systems or the development and implementation of travel planning schemes. At the end of all your hard work, you’ll have a Level 3 Diploma in Transport Planning along with the opportunity to become a qualified engineering technician (EngTech).
Business administration (London and Altrincham)
Can you imagine working with civil servants within national and local government? Well working as part of the Education Health and Care (EHC) team you could find yourself working in key government sectors of Education, Public Health and Social Care. This role will provide experience of contract processes, project management and provide an insight in to Local Authority / Government working and relationship management. At the end of all your hard work, you’ll have a Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration along with the opportunity for further progression.

You can apply for this apprenticeship if you have already achieved or are expected to achieve five GCSE passes with graces 4-9. (A*-C or equivalent). You must have an English GCSE with grade C or 5 and Maths GCSE with grade B or 6 and above.

About our apprenticeships, is this the right route for you?
