The successful applicant will work with the Lead Regulatory Change Consultant and Portfolio Lead to assist in the day to day running of the Portfolio, as well as rotating around other roles in the Portfolio (including through Business Analyst and Project Manager Project Support roles) to gain an insight into several different roles and projects.
We are seeking a highly motivated and quick thinking Apprentice who is interested in working in the Regulatory Change Portfolio at M&G plc.
The successful applicant will work with the Lead Regulatory Change Consultant and Portfolio Lead to assist in the day to day running of the Portfolio, as well as rotating around other roles in the Portfolio (including through Business Analyst and Project Manager/ Project Support roles) to gain an insight into several different roles and projects.
This apprenticeship will give successful candidate a practical introduction to the management and operation of an investment firm, whilst providing early exposure to a range of business experiences.

About the Regulatory Change Portfolio
The Regulatory Change Portfolio is responsible for the delivery of Regulatory Change across M&G plc. This includes new regulations that impact the firm (some recent examples include MiFID II and GDPR), direct requests from the Regulator, and regulatory remediation projects.
As a Regulatory Change Apprentice, you will support the management team in the day to day running of the portfolio as well as getting involved in individual projects in different capacities, to learn how projects work, and you will become an integral part of our portfolio as a whole. You will be supported throughout your apprenticeship on these skills whilst also developing your knowledge of the business.
Your daily duties will include:
-Assisting the production of month end reporting
-Working closely with Finance and Portfolio Analyst to understand portfolio finances and budget, and to maintain oversight on overspend, available budget etc.
-Work closely with Regulatory Development team in Compliance to understand regulatory horizon and managing priorities
-Working in a hybrid role on a number of key projects in the portfolio
-Providing ad hoc support to the Team where required
The candidate should have a minimum of 2 A levels with good grades in GCSE Maths and English (A-C). Alternatively, they should have 2 years of work experience in an office or business environment
