Based in Lincoln as a Water Connections Desktop Surveyor, you'll be responsible for supporting the Developer Services Connections Manager by providing a seamless service to the customers requiring connections to our existing water infrastructure.

 

What will you be doing?

 

You'll be assessing sites for traffic management requirements considering the Safety at Street and Road Works Code of Practice under section 65 of NRSWA 1991.

In this role you'll have the opportunity to provide first class customer service, through requirement gathering and cost advice, as well as establishing innovative ways to consistently improve the experience of our customers.

Using industry software and our systems, you'll complete desktop surveys to provide customers with accurate cost and advice. You'll be expected to liaise not only with customers but also with Project Engineers and other key stakeholders, providing technical guidance and knowledge to colleagues and customers.

 

 

What do you need?

 

You'll ideally need to have good traffic management knowledge as well as an understanding of NRSWA and Chapter 8 of the Traffic Signs Manual. Our ideal candidate will have extensive IT experience using various software and management systems and ideally have experience of using SAP.

We're looking for candidates who have a portfolio of transferrable skills, including excellent communication, decision making and interpersonal skills. You'll have the ability to act on personal initiative, as well as a flexible approach to work to enable efficient workload management.
