Who Is the course for:
Anyone with a genuine interest in History. The course provides a strong foundation for progression to Higher Education. The course is available for full-time or part-time students during the day. Students should have recent academic experience at GCSE level. Full-time students would normally be expected to complete the ‘AS’ modules in Year 1 and the ‘A2’ modules in Year 2.
Method Of Assesment:
AS Level: Exam Based – Document Analysis and Essay Questions
A2 Level: Coursework and Examination – Essay Questions
The course is supported by a variety of up-to-date resources, including student texts, videos, discussion tapes and documentary evidence. Teaching and assessment methods are varied and there is a strong emphasis on discussion.
The Library has an excellent collection of books and journals.
