Accounts Assistant Apprentice with The Coulter Partnership Services Ltd

You will be working with a centralised business services team to provide support to our 9 operating subsidiaries across the globe. The role will be to support the finance function with accounts payables, sales recording, assets and other adhoc tasks.

Accounts Payable

Checking supplier invoices

Processing reimbursement expense claims

Inputting financial data into accounting software (Xero)

Bimonthly payment runs via online banking

Checking and ensuring all payments are being made by due date

 

Sales

Calculating fee instalments based on contracts with clients

Maintaining sales spreadsheet with invoices

Raising invoices on internal database with all relevant information (AP contacts, PO’s etc.)

 

Assets

Procurement of equipment/hardware for colleagues

Maintaining asset register (list of hardware with each employee)

 

Ad-hoc

Provide support to Finance department

Reconciliations of group credit cards and bank accounts

Assist with VAT returns

Update exchange rates into accounting software each month

Maintain and update annual leave booking system with new employees/public holidays

Maintain register of employees with addresses and emergency contacts

Produce customer statements where necessary

Performing office tasks such as sorting out and filing the post

Manage petty cash

 

Qualifications Required: 3 A Levels - min grade BBC, GCSE Maths - min grade 6, GCSE English - min grade 5
