A UK wide company with over 250 locations to service their customers which includes the following sectors: electrical contractors & engineers, industrial companies, facilities management, government agencies, local authorities, power generation, utilities, construction, panel builders, oil, gas, petrochemical, export markets, food industries, hotels/leisure, retail, air conditioning, heating & ventilation, refrigeration, security and fire prevention. You will be working from one of the Edmundson Electrical branches located in Kirkintilloch. With 38 branches across Scotland, you will be joining a growing and well known business in the electrical services industry. Edmundson work with well known clients such as CBRE, City Facilities Management and Glasgow City Council. Reporting to the Regional Credit Manager, you will work with branches and customers to ensure that payments go through and to support with any queries or issues. You will have the opportunty to build good relationships with set customers and have full exposure to how a busy Accounts Receivable Team operates. You will be working 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday.
- Using bespoke finance system called CAS on a daily basis to monitor movement of cash and keep information up to date
- Allocating cash on receipt using CAS and Microsoft Excel
- Analysing customer information on Microsoft Excel
- To identify areas of risk Working on a set of customers in order to build good relationships
- Dealing directly with customers over the phone and via email
- Following up on queries such as late payment
- Providing solutions for customers
