Administration Assistant Apprenticeship

Administration Apprentice

Overall purpose & Scope ofrole

· Responsible for supporting with 85% workshop attendance across all sectors

· Responsible for ensuring that all WEST diagnostics are complete within 28 days of start date

· Responsible for undertaking destination calls to past-learners

· Responsible for the daily administration to support the operations team

Key duties


Ensure own CPD and professional competency is maintained Strive to maintain positive working relationships across the team Maintain a flexible approach to support your team and the wider business


Quality & Compliance:

· Ensures all administrative activities are completed accurately and timely

· Maintains accurate manual and electronic learner records ensuring learner management system and tracking tools are used effectively

· Works to audit expectations of funding and awarding bodies

· Keep up to date with and adhere to company, policies and procedures at all times

Demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding. Playing your part to protect colleagues and learners against all types of bullying, radicalisation or abuse Take responsibility for the protection of data in line with policies and procedures Responsible for record-keeping learner progress in workshop sessions



· Establish and maintain strong, relationships with all relevant stakeholders, both internal and external

· Promote a positive and professional image of the Company and all of the services it delivers through excellent customer service

· To demonstrate and uphold the company values, creating a great place to work for all


Contribute positively to growth of the business by controlling costs Undertake and achieve a Business Administration apprenticeship


Knowledge, skills and behaviours required for the role:



Knowledge & Desirable Experience

· Prior experience of working in office based administrative role

· Previous exposure to learner management systems (desirable)

Desirable Qualifications

· Level 2 English and maths


· Competent in the use of technology e.g. Microsoft office and learner management/ databases

· Excellent customer service skills

· Attention to detail

· Competent numeracy skills

· Planning, organising and time management

· Good communicator, with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders


· Proactive and can-do approach

· Self-motivated

· Pragmatic approach to problem solving

· Diligent in approach to compliance
