You must have or be predicted to gain Five GCSE’s graded A-C / 4-9 or equivalent:
Two of which must be Maths and English Language
Along with three others from any of the following subject areas – IT, Technical Drawing, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Science or any other Engineering subject, English Literature, Geography or History
An Engineering Diploma/Qualification i.e. BTEC (grade pass) along with GCSE Maths and English Language graded A-C /4-9 or equivalent

About the role
Working in the Maintenance team over the next four years will give you experience across a wide range of specialist cryogenic equipment. This will enable you to gain experience and develop your skills whilst working on the job. The Maintenance department supports the Operations team on site by keeping the sites assets in their prime condition and ready to meet our customer needs when exporting the LNG.
Key tasks and areas of work
Your day to day duties will be working on equipment such as process instrumentation, emergency shutdown systems, Fire & Gas detection systems & Gas quality analysis equipment.

Your first two years will be working towards a National Certificate at Level 3. After your successful completion, you will be encouraged to take up a Foundation Degree in Mechanical Engineering which Grain LNG will sponsor you. The successful applicant will be exposed to on-going site specific training and specialist training for our assets in this for ever changing industry.
