Human Resources | London| Reporting to the Head of Learning and Development

This is a two-year, fixed term contract for the duration of the HR Support Standard Level 3. Successful completion of this certification results in eligibility to become an Associate Member of the CIPD, the professional body for HR professionals in the UK.

You will interact with highly experienced ODHR experts from the beginning of your career at AlixPartners. You will be specializing in L&D and at the same time learning more about the wider ODHR function with the chance to discover which specialism interest you the most. Our extensive training program will help you develop skill and experience. In addition to this, 20% of your time will be invested in external training tailored to enhance your working experience and help you achieve a recognized standard and be eligible.

Role requirements

• Assist in the planning of the EMEA learning schedule

• Work with the US team and the EMEA L&D VP to set up courses on the AlixPartners Learning Portal

• Agree delegate profile with the EMEA L&D VP and work with the Talent VPs to work out target audience

• Send invites and deal with any queries relating to the course; travel or accommodation

• Managing course attendees for duplication (checking that those who have signed up have not previously attended the course)

• Send “we still have places available” chasers where appropriate

• Manage and track cancellations and provide reports to the L&D VP not just raw data

• Liaise with Facilities re room availability, bookings, layouts, equipment and passes

• Issue and follow up on completion of pre-work for the course

• Check branding of slides/handouts/materials and rebrand, edit and format where necessary

• Preparing materials and organise a courier for these if venue is offsite

• Arrange printing of materials

• Be on hand at the start of a course to help the Facilitator set up and ensure they have everything needed

• Be the point of contact throughout the event to deal with any problems or late requests

• Liaise with local offices to make arrangements when training is being held outside of London

• Manage arrangements for post course follow ups

• Process invoices and record spend

• Organise course dinners and catering where appropriate

• Processing feedback results and distribute evaluation surveys to Facilitators

• Help produce metrics for the EMEA ODHR Dashboard

• Help produce slides and data for Community meetings

• Manage ad hoc enquiries

• Any other general admin associated with L&D

• Field calls from prospective external vendors

• Network with the MD’s PAs to help get time in their diaries

• Set up and arrange the face-to-face lunch and learn sessions throughout the year
