Your job title will be' Apprentice Business Analyst'.
This is a combination of Business Analyst, Project Support, Trainer, Tester and Consultant - we'll work out together what fits you best across the apprenticeship, while helping you achieve your goals and complete your apprenticeship.

As an Apprentice Business Analyst, you will be working with our Senior Business Analyst to uncover and understand the customer's requirements and translate these into a specification for our developers. You will have access to the latest technologies from Microsoft to support and deliver your work.
Your role will develop across your apprenticeship as you find your specific strengths and you will be involved in a range of internal, training and customers projects.
Responsibilities [will include but not be limited to]:
• Help run workshops to uncover customer requirements
• Support and development of detailed requirements documentation
• Translate the needs of the customer into a functional specification
• Assist in the testing and documentation of the tools
• Writing or editing user guides
• Digging into the data to uncover customer behaviour and scaling the problem
• Support the project delivery, tracking risks, issues and changes
Desired qualities, skills and experiences:
• Basic knowledge of Cloud computing, particularly SaaS (like Office 365)
• Inquisitive mind-set
• Excellent communication skills; verbal, written and diagrams
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office suite and ideally Office 365
• Everything else we can teach you
Desired qualification requirements:
Must hold 5 GCSE's (graded A*-C or 9 to 5) or equivalent including English/Maths.
Have been a resident in the UK/EEA/EU for the last 3 years.
5 days per week,
Monday – Friday,
9am – 5pm,
35 per week, [all details will be confirmed with the employer]
You’ll have one dedicated study day per week to support your development through self-directed learning.
£14,000 - £15,000 per annum
QA’s apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), an executive agency of the Department for Education.
To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
