Vacancy Overview:

We have an opportunity for an apprentice commis chef to join the kitchen of our popular country pub.

Working Week:

25 hrs

Detailed Job Description:

Duties will include:
• Ingredient preparation
• Portion Control
• Cooking meals through various different cooking methods
• Plating up and presentation of food
• Taking instruction from senior chefs
• Cleaning and clearing down work stations
• Working in a safe manner at all times

Skills Required:

• Ability to work in a team
• Ability to take instruction
• Basic Knowledge of food preparation & food hygiene

Personal Qualities:

• Not afraid to work hard
• Presentable
• Pride in what you do

Other Information:

This is a busy kitchen where you will be on your feet for long periods of time.
