Apprentice Fabricator - Kevin Ryan

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right person who wants to work on specialising camper vans with state of the art design, finish, technology and engineering techniques. We fabricate the full design, weld, make the structures, fixtures and fittings to the highest standard.

Apprenticeship summary

Weekly wage: £159.10

Working week: Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm

Total hours per week: 37.00

Expected duration: 18 months

Possible start date: 12 Jul 2021

Apprenticeship level: Intermediate Level 2 (GCSE)

Your day to day duties will include:

  • Specific marking out and preparation techniques
  • Designing and fabrication structures and surrounds for internal camper vans
  • Installating latest technology and fittings to meet customer requirements
  • Different fabrication and joining techniques
  • Specific safe working practices, isolation procedures and safe reinstating of equipment/system that need to be observed
  • Shape the materials using the appropriate methods and techniques
  • Join the materials using the appropriate methods and techniques
  • Produce components which meet the specification requirements
  • Carry out quality checks during and after the fabrication activities

Must hold A to C/GCSE 4 in Maths and English or equivalent
