We have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager Apprentice based in our office in Stockton-on-Tees. If you’re proactive, extremely organised, good communication and like to see something through to the very end, this could be the role for you.
In this role, you will gain a breadth of knowledge and experience within the Project Management function supporting our international projects. You will have regular contact with people from all functional areas of the Business, including Sales, Legal and Contracts, Commercial Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, HR, and Operations. External contacts include customers, sub -contractors, suppliers, consortium partners and other Primetals Business Units.
- Actively gathers information on the customer and the customer's requirements/targets.
- Performs regular cost controls.
- Supports relevant planning elements and project milestones
- Ongoing monitoring of project status,
- Communicating with overseas customers and colleagues.
- Learning how to invoice and set costs.
- Updating Excel spreadsheets.
- General office admin support including filing and scanning documents.
Alongside this, you will be included in our internal development programme, giving you access to further training and mentoring.
You will undertake a level 4 Associate Project Manager Apprenticeship (equivalent to HNC) through day / block release with an external provider.
On successful completion of the apprenticeship there will be opportunities for continuing professional development and progression within the Company.
