Apprentice Software Developer
PrimeCarers is a 2-year old marketplace start-up, focused on revolutionising the care industry. Our platform not only makes it easier for our clients to find a carer that they love but also makes that affordable too.
We’re looking for an apprentice software developer that wants to work on a lot of varied projects and get a full appreciation for the job of the software developer. As a small company, there will be plenty of opportunities to carve out your own niche doing what you find the most interesting and leading your own projects. Working on our existing Python/Django project to build out new features and fix bugs in our product.
Main role / Responsibilities: [will include but not be limited to]:
- Building new micro services to help us offer new and improved features to our customers
- Helping with the development of our mobile apps for Android/IOS.
Desired Qualifications: 5 GCSE's A*-C Grade including Maths and English
Working week: Monday to Friday 9 am -5.30 pm
Salary: £11,500 Per Annum
92% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship. Additionally, there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programmes offer on-going development tracks.
QA’s apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), an executive agency of the Department for Education.
To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
